An incremental Salesforce backup operation fails with a date range error.

Symptoms

An incremental backup job fails, with an error message that is similar to the following: INVALID_REPLICATION_DATE;startDate cannot be more than 30 days ago

Causes

An incremental backup job can fail when no backup jobs have completed in the previous 30 days.

Resolution

Immediately run a full backup job, and then schedule daily incremental backups.
