Performing a Salesforce restore operation on objects that have corresponding file blob data produces an error.
Symptoms
A restore operation does not run and the following error appears: RESTORE_CLOUD_WARN_FILE_MISSING message
Causes
Corresponding file blob data cannot be located for an object record during the restore operation.
Resolution
If you are running a record-level restore operation for an object that has dependent file objects, do the following:
Run a restore operation for that object.
After the restore operation is complete, run one more record-level restore for the dependent file objects, such as Attachments, Documents, and ContentVersions, by selecting the related record ID.
If you are running an object-level restore operation for an object that has dependent file objects, do the following:
Run a restore operation by selecting the required dependent object, such as Attachments, Documents, and ContentVersions, from Files. This allows the blob files to be located and successfully allows the data to be restored to Salesforce.
