SAP HANA backup fails for backint protocol version 1.5

If the backint protocol version is 1.5, the SAP HANA database backup fails.

Symptoms

The SAP HANA database backup fails, and the following error appears:

Invalid line '#NOTFOUND "/usr/sap/ABH/SYS/global/hdb/backint/SYSTEMDB/71657_COMPLETE_DATA_BACKUP_databackup_0_1" 1191936"' found in backint communication file: Backint backup job must not return #NOTFOUND

Causes

The SAP HANA database backup fails because the backint_protocol_version property is set to 1.5 in the global.ini file, but Commvault Platform Release 2022E and older versions support backint protocol version 1.0.

Resolution

1. Remove the backint_protocol_version property from the global.ini file that is available in SYSTEMDB and TENANTDB.
2. Restart the HANA services.
