On a Windows 10 client, file recall operations are triggered automatically on opening a folder.
Causes
The icon overlay for the offline files is enabled.
Resolution
As a workaround, complete the following steps:
- Open the Windows Registry Editor, and go to the HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer.
- Check if the ShellIconOverlayIdentifiers registry key is present.
- Remove the ShellIconOverlayIdentifiers registry key or disable the registry key by setting it to null.
