Deduplication Data Verification Job Fails

Symptoms

The deduplication data verification job might fail with the following error message:

Error Code: [62:2486]
Description: Unable to run Data Verification job because Deduplication Database is currently in use by other jobs like Backup, Auxiliary Copy etc.

Causes

Data verification job might fail when any one of the following jobs are running against the storage policy that is in effect for the data verification:

• Backup jobs
• DDB backup jobs
• DDB Move
• DDB Reconstruction
• Auxiliary Copy jobs

Resolution

Make sure to stop all the jobs that are running against the storage policy, or wait for the jobs to complete and then run the deduplicated data verification job.
