Virtual Hard Disk (VHD) restore fails if another VHD with the same name already exists in the destination path.
The restore operation failed with the error:
File Name Already Exists in Destination Path
While performing the restore operation on a Virtual Hard Disk (VHD), the restore destination contained another VHD with the same name as the one being restored.
To complete the restore of the VHD successfully, change the destination path of the VHD.
For instructions on changing the destination path, see Restoring Virtual Machine Files.
