The Commvault software installation program might fail to install Microsoft Visual C++ runtime libraries.
During the installation of a Commvault package, you might see the following error:
Setup failed to install Visual C++ Runtime Libraries. Refer to GalaxyInstallerLog.txt for more information.
The computer requires a reboot to complete the installation of Visual C++ runtime libraries.
Reboot the computer, and verify that the installation of Visual C++ runtime libraries ended with Error Code 3010.
