A Queued Scheduled Job can be resumed by a user
Article ID: JM0002 A Queued Scheduled Job can be resumed by a user
The Job Management control’s Queue Scheduled Jobs option is a dynamic operational window for all scheduled jobs. It has the added feature of allowing users to resume selected jobs. Queue Scheduled Jobs provides a different granularity of control for scheduled jobs then Activity Control of Data Protection or Data Recovery jobs or disabling/enabling the Job Scheduler.
- If you check Queue Scheduled Jobs, then all scheduled jobs that attempt to start from that point on will immediately go into a Queued state.
- If current running/pending/waiting jobs will continue unless they hit an Operation Window where they would normally go into a pending state. At that point they will instead be put into a Queued state . This action can be altered by enabling the option Allow running jobs to complete past the operation window.
- Scheduled jobs in a “Queued” state due to the Queue Scheduled Jobs option can be Resumed, Killed, or Suspended.
- When you uncheck Queue Schedule Jobs, queued jobs will automatically resume if no other condition applies.
