When the secondary proxy computer registers with the file server for the first time, the primary proxy computer automatically disconnects from the NetApp file server.

Symptoms

When the secondary proxy computer registers with the NetApp file server for the first time, the primary proxy computer automatically disconnects from the file server.

Causes

First time registration of any proxy computer with the NetApp file server will disconnect all other proxy computers registered to the file server.

Resolution

Manually recycle the services on the proxy computers. The proxy computers automatically register to the file server.
