Symptoms

Snap job goes into pending state with the following error:

Error Code: [32:392]
Description: Failed to create snapshot of device /dev/vg_sdc/lvm_sdc_vol1 with name cvnv_5732960869163: Volume group "vg_sdc" has insufficient free space (255 extents): 1024 required.

Causes

Volume group has insufficient free space.

Resolution

Increase the free space on the volume group and resume the snap job.
