VaultTracker Policies are Disabled

Article ID: VAULT0002 VaultTracker Policies appear disabled and do not run when executed.

Symptom

VaultTracker Policy appears disabled and cannot be executed.

Cause

If a library attached to the Vault Tracker policy is deconfigured or deleted, then the Vault Tracker policy becomes disabled.  If there are no active libraries assigned, the Vault Tracker Policy will remain disabled until you assign at least one active library to the policy.

Resolution

Multiple Libraries assigned to the VaultTracker Policy and at least one is active.

You can enable the Vault Tracker policy manually in the CommCell Console.

  1. From the CommCell Brower, expand Policies | Vault Tracker Policies.

    All of the available Tracking Policies appear in the right pane of the CommCell Browser.

  2. Right-click the policy that was disabled, and then click Properties.
  3. In the Tracking Policy Details dialog box, select the Enable check box.
  4. Click OK.

No Active Library assigned to the VaultTracker Policy

Add a new library or any available library to the Vault Tracker Policy, and then enable the policy.

  1. From the CommCell Brower, expand to Policies | Vault Tracker Policies.

    All of the available Tracking Policies appear in the right pane of the CommCell Browser.

  2. Right-click the policy that was disabled, and then click Properties.
  3. Click the Source tab.
  4. Expand Libraries
  5. Select the new library that you want to add.
  6. Click the General tab.
  7. Select the Enable check box.
  8. Click OK.
