On Windows computers, Volume Shadow Copy Service (VSS) shadow copy creation fails.
On Windows computers, Volume Shadow Copy Service (VSS) shadow copy creation fails with the following error message: There was insufficient physical space to create the shadow copy which is required for a system state backup. Please try increasing the maximum size limit used to store shadow copies of the according volume. If the error remains, extend the physical volume or switch to a larger volume to store the shadow copies.
The backup job may fail with the following error or similar: [17:155] there was insufficient physical space to create the shadow copy which is required for a system state backup
The size of the shadow copy storage area on the volume is not large enough to store data for shadow copies or the free physical space of the volume is less.
