More data is backed up during a block-level full backup than expected.
The block-level operation runs full backups to copy only data blocks on a volume. However, more data is backed up than expected.
Large size backups may be due to a large number of files in the Recycle Bin, which are included in the backups.
When you delete files, the files are not removed at the block level; they are removed only from the Master File Table (MFT). Delete the files from the Recycle Bin to release backup space.
