Backup Copy Job goes to Pending State after the Client Computer Restarts

After the computer restarts, the native snapshots are deleted, causing the backup copy job to go to pending state.

Symptoms

Backup copy job might go to pending state.

Causes

The client computer was restarted before the backup copy job finished. After the computer restarts, the native snapshots are deleted and hence the backup copy job fails.

Resolution

Terminate the backup copy job that is pending.
Unpick the snap job from being copied to media. For more information, see Disabling Backup Copy for a Specific Job.
Run a new incremental backup job.
