Unable to execute interactive Workflows

Article ID: WORK0001 The interactive workflow job goes to a pending state.

Symptom

The interactive workflow job goes to a pending state with the following message:

Interactive session is not available

Cause

The workflow requires user input or display information message during execution, but the workflow's interactive session property is not set to True.

Resolution

  1. From the <Workflow> window, navigate to the Workflow Properties pane.
  2. Set the Start Interactive Session property to True in the Value column.
  3. Save and deploy the workflow.
