The Exchange System Discovery Tool fails to collect data on an array of CAS servers when you specify dynamic profiles.

The Exchange System Discovery Tool data collection fails with the following error:

Failed to initialize MAPI...Exiting.

You ran the Exchange System Discovery Tool on an array of CAS servers by using the default dynamic profile.

Use the Static Profile option:

Create a service account profile in Microsoft Outlook. For instructions, see the Microsoft Office Support article, Create an Outlook Profile.
In the Profile Name box, specify the service account profile name.
Select the Static Profile check box.
Run the tool.
