Loss of Control Process for AuxcopyMgr.exe

Causes

If you have scheduled a large number of auxiliary copy jobs to run on the CommServe, the jobs might fail due to a low system memory size.

Resolution

Increase the size of the desktop heap.

On the CommServe computer, modify the Windows Desktop Memory settings by editing the following registry key:

  1. Click Start, click Run
  2. In the Openbox, type regedit, and then click OK.
  3. In the Registry Editor, go to this registry branch: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\System\CurrentControlSet\Control\Session Manager\SubSystems
  4. Right-click Windows and click Modify.
  5. In the Value databox, increase the value in SharedSection from 768to 2048 (2 MB) For example, if the value of SharedSection is defined as 1024, 20480, 768, modify 768 value to 2048. After the modification, the value appears as 1024, 20480, 2048.
  6. Click OK.
  7. Restart the computer.
