Synthetic Full backup job fails showing reason for failure.
19:586 Synthetic Full cannot run because no Incremental or Differential backup was run after last Full backup for the subclient.
Synthetic Full backup requires the previous backup be either an incremental or differential backup.
If this is the first backup for the subclient and the backup type selected is Synthetic Full with backup option to Run Incremental Backup Before Synthetic Full, then the Incremental backup will be automatically converted to Full (first backup) and the Synthetic Full backup will fail because the expected incremental backup was converted to full.
Kill the current Synthetic Full backup job if still pending.
Resubmit/re-run the Synthetic Full backup job with the backup option _Run Incremental Backup Before Synthetic Full_selected.
Make sure all subsequent Synthetic Full backup jobs have a preceeding incremental or differential backup job scheduled and completed.
