CommServe on VMware Virtual Machine. Database queries unable to write to Database Logs
When using a LSI_SAS
controller in a Windows virtual machine hosting CommServe database, you experience these symptoms:
Known VMware lost I/O issue occurs because of a loss of synchronization between the miniport and Storport used by the LSI_SAS driver. See VMware KB article "Reset to device, \Device\RaidPort0, was issued" error in the Windows event log (2063346)
This issue is fixed in 1.34.02 and later of the LSI_SAS driver. Download the LSILogic SCSI controller driver from the download center at the Avago Technologies Web site. Reset the Virtual Machine..
