Account assigned to access Exchange Mailboxes for backup cannot login to Exchange Server.
Symptoms
Exchange Mailbox agent backup fails with error code 72:27. User account specified to perform backup fails to login.
Causes
User Account credentials specified in Mailbox Exchange Agent are invalid.
- Account name not entered correctly.
- Account password expired/changed/not entered correctly.
- Invalid/non Active Directory account used.
- Active Directory not available to validate account.
Resolution
Verify Exchange Mailbox Agent account is
- Entered correctly.
- Has valid and current password.
- Is an Active Directory account.
- Exchange Mailbox host has communications with Active Directory host.
