Backup job fails due to no content or unable to discover content

Symptoms

Log shows error similar to

Level [0] flags [0] id [0] overwrite [0] append [0] CustId[0].

Causes

Subclient contents are blank or listed contents cannot be found.  Could be permissions related.

Unable to communicate with client. Inconsistent network connection.

Resolution

• Confirm subclient content can be accessed by client host.
• Verify any user impersonation permissions.
• Check network connection and consistency.
• Retry backup job.
