NetApp Open Replication or OCUM-based replication of VSA V2 jobs may be marked as completed incorrectly.

Symptoms

NetApp Open Replication or OCUM-based replication of VSA V2 jobs may be marked as completed incorrectly.

Causes

With the NetApp Open Replication feature or OCUM-based replication, and with VSA V2 clients, replicate data with auxiliary copy operations to snapshot copies is not supported.

Resolution

The Commvault software skips VSA V2 jobs that are running auxiliary copy operations that replicate data to snapshot copies. The Commvault software displays the following message: Error Code: [13:221] Description: Some jobs [list of jobIDs] have been skipped on copy [storage policy name/copy name] since Auxiliary copy to Snap Copy of VSA V2 jobs are not supported, ADVICE: Please create separate Storage Policy without any secondary Snap Copies or remove the subclient association from Copy Properties.
