Error Code: [19:2137] Description: Failed to get a valid client to run the Job. Source: secvcs, Process: JobManager

The access node where an operation needs to run was not accessed for a network share Agent backups (i.e. NAS).

Symptoms

An operation, such as a backup job, does not run, and the following error message appears:

Error Code: [19:2137] Description: Failed to get a valid client to run the Job. Source: , Process: JobManager

Causes

This error code can occur when there is a problem with the access node, such as the following:

• You did not define a data access node at the client, instance, or subclient level.
• The data access node is offline.
• The software version installed on the data access node is not the correct release.

Resolution

• Run the Check Readiness report on the client to verify that the computer is ready to perform operations.
• Add a data access node that has connectivity to the data that needs to be backed up.
