If context creation fails during an NDMP backup job, the following event is created: NDMP_MAX_CONTEXT_REACHED Unable to create context(snapshot) on file server [^1%s] for path [^2%s], maybe max context(snapshot) limit reached.
NDMP backup jobs cannot be restarted.
Context is needed to resume a backup job from a previous check-point, so without context, backup jobs cannot be restarted.
Instead of continuing with a backup job that cannot be restarted, you can fail the backup job for a path without context. The backup job is attempted again when the next backup job runs.
