Troubleshoot from the system reporting the error, not from your personal computer.
Troubleshoot the error as follows:
Check network connectivity using the Network Test Tool. This is a TCP/IP-based tool for verifying network connectivity between clients in your CommCell environment, such as the CommServe computer, MediaAgents, and other client computers. For more information, see Checking Network Connectivity Using the Network Test Tool.
For computers running Windows Server 2012 and more recent releases, use Test-NetConnection in PowerShell to diagnose connections. For more information, see Test-NetConnection.
If multiple network interfaces are configured on the host computers, set up a data interface pair (DIP) to create an exclusive network route for data transfer between the two host computers. For more information Configuring a Dedicated Backup Network Using Data Interface Pairs.
The components of a CommCell instance might not be communicating with each other using HTTP encapsulation through a VPN tunnel, despite all the network components being configured correctly. For more information, see CommCell Components Not Communicating through VPN.
