We are pleased to announce an upcoming enhancement in the Commvault Cloud platform. Beginning with the Platform release 2024 (version 11.34), we are introducing a significant improvement for new deployments of our software.
Transition to Command Center UI: New deployments using version 11.34 and onwards will be managed exclusively through our Command Center user interface. This change marks our commitment to delivering a modernized and efficient management experience. The Command Center UI is designed to streamline your administrative tasks with its intuitive and user-friendly design.
Continued Support for Existing Users: For our existing customers who installed their CommCell prior to 2024 (11.34), there will be no change. You can update to Platform release 2024 (11.34) and still continue to use the CommCell console as usual. We assure you of our full support for the CommCell Console in managing your current deployments.
Looking Ahead: While the CommCell Console remains supported for existing setups, we encourage you to explore the Command Center. Future releases will primarily focus on enhancing features and functionalities within the Command Center interface.
Assistance and Support: Should you require temporary access to the CommCell console for new deployments from 11.34 onwards, our customer support team is ready to assist. Simply contact us with your CommCell ID and registration code, obtainable from Command Center (Manage -> License) and the reason for requiring access to the CommCell Console. Our dedicated support engineers will provide you with the necessary authorization for temporary CommCell Console access or steps to perform the action within Command Center.
